On Monday, Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal announced that the government would unveil the National Economic Transformation Plan for the next five years. The launch is scheduled for the following day, as reported by Radio Pakistan.

During a 2022 briefing, Iqbal outlined the previous government’s four-point strategy for revitalizing the economy, which focused on boosting exports, attracting foreign investment, improving the tax-to-GDP ratio, and addressing the issues of loss-making, government-owned industries.
