Ph. D or equivalent qualification in relevant subject having three years’ experience in one or combination of the following:
a) Intermediate to postgraduate teaching; or
b) Research experience in a College or a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission; or
c) Experience in relevant field in a national or international organization.
OR
“M. Phil in relevant subject having five years’ experience in one or combination of the following:
a) Teaching experience at graduation level; or
b) Research experience in a College or a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission; or
c) Experience in relevant field in a national or international organization.
OR
“Masters’ degree (second division) in relevant subject having seven years’ experience in one or combination of the following:
a) Teaching experience at graduate level; or
b) Research experience in a College or a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission; or
c) Experience in relevant field in a national or international organization;
Note:
Experience after prescribed qualification shall be considered.

SYLLABUS FOR WRITTEN EXAMINATION/TEST (IF HELD)

One paper of MCQ type written test of 100 marks of 90 minutes duration syllabus is as under;
i) Questions related to prescribed qualification (80%)
ii) General Ability includes (20%)
General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Current Affairs, Geography, Basic Mathematics, English, Urdu, Everyday Science and Basic Computer Studies.
Note:
i) If the component of 80% qualification related questions relates to a particular subject (e.g. Mathematics), then questions on that subject (e.g. Mathematics) will be excluded from the General Ability
component (20%).

FOR THE SUBJECTS OF ENGLISH, URDU, ISLAMIAT, ECONOMICS, MATHEMATICS AND STATISTICS
Masters’ degree (second division) from a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission in relevant subject.
FOR THE SUBJECT OF COMMERCE
i) Master’s degree (second division) in Commerce from a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission; or
ii) Master’s degree in Business Education (second division) after having Bachelor’s degree in Commerce; or
iii) Master’s degree in Economics (second division) after having Bachelor’s degree in Commerce; or
iv) Master’s degree in Business Administration (second division) after having Bachelor’s degree in Commerce; or
v) Master’s degree in Accounting & Finance (second division) after having Bachelor’s degree in Commerce.
FOR THE SUBJECT OF ENGLISH SHORTHAND
i) Masters’ degree (second division) in any discipline from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission preferably in English, Urdu, Islamiat, Pakistan Studies, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Marketing, Law,
Management, Commerce or Information Technology; and
ii) Diploma in Commerce with English shorthand as a subject.
FOR THE SUBJECT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE/ I.T.
Masters’ degree (second division) in Computer Science or equivalent qualification from a University recognized by the Higher Education Commission.
