Launch of Maskan-e-Ravi ‘Zahra Homes’
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has unveiled a new initiative to support deserving and underprivileged individuals by providing three marla plots for free. The announcement was made during the inauguration of Maskan-e-Ravi ‘Zahra Homes’ in Kala Shah Kaku.

At the inauguration event, the Chief Minister visited the Maskan-e-Ravi project, where she conducted a thorough inspection. During the ceremony, she distributed allotment letters and keys to 100 families. She expressed her satisfaction with the quality and facilities offered by the Maskan-e-Ravi ‘Zahra Homes’.

Housing Specifications
The Maskan-e-Ravi ‘Zahra Homes’ project consists of 100 houses, initially constructed in Mohalla Nehra Pur on Kala Khatta Road in Lahore. Each house measures 400 square feet and includes two bedrooms, one kitchen, one bathroom, and a courtyard.
Technological and Environmental Benefits
The homes are built using TREND EPS Smart Panel Technology, which ensures that they are earthquake-resistant, energy-efficient, and environmentally sustainable. Each house is equipped with a 5 kW solar system to meet energy needs. Residents will also have access to an RO plant for clean drinking water, as well as community amenities such as a school, playground, mosque, and dispensary.
Partnership and Development
The Maskan Ravi Housing Scheme is a collaboration between RUDA and EPS Solutions Pakistan. A documentary showcasing the services and projects of PML-N President Nawaz Sharif was also presented during the event.
Punjab Government Approves Rs62 Billion for Housing Loans
Approval of Funds for ‘Apni Chhat Apna Ghar’ Program
On the previous day, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz approved Rs62 billion for the ‘Apni Chhat Apna Ghar’ program, with the aim of providing loans to 40,000 individuals by May. The approval followed a special cabinet meeting where the CM directed that the loan disbursement process be expedited.
Loan Increase Proposal and Progress Report
During the meeting, CM Maryam instructed officials to review a proposal to increase the loan amount from Rs1.5 million to Rs2 million. It was also reported that 5,000 residents have already benefited from the program, and over 4,200 houses are nearing completion.

Transforming Agriculture, Solar Energy, and Industry
During her term, the Chief Minister has made several key decisions aimed at improving the agriculture, solar energy, and industrial sectors of Punjab. A review meeting chaired by Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb discussed the progress in these sectors.
Boosting Agricultural Development
As part of her initiative to support agricultural growth, Maryam Nawaz directed the allocation of additional resources to accelerate the distribution of tractors and other farming equipment. In addition to the 10,000 tractors already allocated, 2,000 more superseders will be provided to farmers at discounted rates by February 28.
